The Courier-Post, a south Jersey paper, has taken a look at the latest U.S. Census of Agriculture data and sees good news for New Jersey. The Garden State now has 10,327 farms, 4% more than it had in 2002 and the highest number of farms since 1965. One of the bright spots of growth? Organic farming.
