Storage Blunts Impact Of Antioxidant-Rich Foods

USA Today is reporting that two new studies show that the health benefits of food and beverages rich in antioxidants can be compromised by long storage. The studies on green tea bags and olive oil, published in the March issue of the Journal of Food Science, showed that they both experienced steep drops in antioxidant activity within just the first six months alone.
